Restaurant Madame Brasserie – Eiffel Tower – Thierry Marx
The famous brasserie on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower reopens its doors!
Opened in : June 2022 – 5 avenue Anatole France – 75007 Paris
The brasserie on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower is undergoing renovation until 2022 and is now called Madame Brasserie. At the helm is two-starred chef Thierry Marx.
It opens up 360 degrees onto the metal structure of the Iron Lady and allows you to enjoy its beauty with a breathtaking view of the Trocadero and the Palais de Chaillot.
A new place, open from morning to night with the eternal view of Paris as a backdrop. During the day, it’s all about enjoying the natural light atmosphere. In the evening, the sunset is sublimated and once night falls, the play of light laces the metal structure to offer a sublime living spectacle.
From May 2022, we enter the new playground of Chef Thierry Marx and his guest of honour: nature.
The chef will be highlighting local producers and craftsmen who share the same philosophy and who put the Ile-de-France region at the centre of his work. A man of commitment and transmission, Thierry Marx is a gastronomic explorer whose territories range from molecular cuisine to street fooding. At the Eiffel Tower, he has chosen to offer a contemporary and convivial brasserie cuisine.
He sublimates nature with seasonal products from local and Ile-de-France producers and works with them in the spirit of a contemporary and warm brasserie. The cuisine is seasonal, respectful of the environment and above all a source of pleasure. « Good cooking means giving memory to the ephemeral. In a place as prestigious as the Eiffel Tower, it’s a pleasure » according to the Chef.
Thierry Marx is also a committed craftsman, notably as a Compagnon du Devoir in pastry-making and founder of Cuisine mode d’emploi(s): a hexagonal network of reintegration and training centres for catering professions, which he founded in Paris in 2012. For Thomas Pesquet, in 2017, he worked on creating recipes in space, without waste. Today, the chef continues to work in favour of the environment and product transparency. With his two stars obtained in 2012 at the Mandarin Oriental Paris restaurant, Sur Mesure by Thierry Marx, he is continuing his desire to pass on his knowledge by signing this new menu at the Eiffel Tower.
The animation is worthy of a ballet, the pace is mastered, the dishes are fresh. The brasserie offers a healthy, simple and responsible menu. No checkered tablecloths but an epic view of Paris, in its modern version.
The spaces are transformed and the story is written by four hands. Ramy Fischler, designer of the year 2018, founder of the RF studio, and Nicolas Delon, founder of the Encore Heureux collective, are reinventing the Eiffel Tower with a common desire, transparency. On the ground floor, the lounge offers a relaxed setting. A space that transforms into a lounge bar to enjoy the sunset in a more intimate atmosphere, with a musical background. The dining room, on the first floor, offers a friendly atmosphere throughout the day and a cosy atmosphere in the evening.
It is the promise of a place where life is good: a true gustatory adventure, in a setting and spaces entirely redesigned to offer you an exceptional experience.
